How Live Experts works
Live Experts is designed for independent service providers who want to offer one-to-one services by video while keeping the conversation, pricing decision and payment flow clear for both sides.

Add services and prices
Create services with a fixed price or a starting-from price. You can also show an approximate duration for each service.

Connect Stripe
Stripe Connect is required for real consultation payments and payouts. VoxFati does not store your bank details.

Go online when available
When you are online and accepting video calls, clients can start a private video introduction. When you are offline, your profile remains visible.

Accept booking requests if you want
Bookings are optional. You choose whether clients can request future times, define your schedule and personally confirm or decline every request.

Get paid inside the session
After speaking with the client, send a payment request inside the video session. The client chooses whether to continue and pay.

The public price helps clients understand your service, but the live conversation happens first. This gives both sides a chance to clarify what is needed before a payment request is made.

When bookings are enabled
- Set your own timezone and weekly availability.
- Use more than one availability window on the same day.
- Clients request an available time rather than instantly reserving it.
- You personally confirm or decline each request.
- Confirmed bookings appear in your Expert workspace.
- Booking and reminder emails are sent through VoxFati's transactional email system.
When bookings are disabled
- Your Expert profile still remains visible.
- You can still accept live video calls when online.
- No future booking button is shown to clients.
- You can turn booking requests on again whenever you choose.
Pricing, fees and payouts
The Expert membership and consultation commission are separate. A free membership granted by VoxFati removes the monthly membership charge only; it does not remove the platform commission on real consultation payments.
- Live Expert membership: $49.99/month, recurring.
- No setup fee.
- VoxFati platform commission: 25% of each real consultation payment.
- Expert share: 75% before Stripe processing fees applicable to the connected account.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to be online all the time?
No. Your profile can remain visible while you are offline. Clients can only use the immediate live-call option when you are actually available and accepting video calls.
Do I have to accept bookings?
No. Future booking requests are optional. You can disable them and continue using only live availability.
Are booking requests automatically confirmed?
No. A client submits a request and you confirm or decline it yourself. This lets you stay in control of your schedule.
Does the client pay when booking?
No. The booking itself does not automatically charge the client. The normal Live Expert flow is to talk first and, if both sides want to continue, send a payment request from inside the live session.
How do I receive payouts?
Real consultation payments use Stripe Connect. VoxFati applies its 25% platform commission and the connected Expert account receives the remaining share before Stripe processing fees.
Can VoxFati waive my monthly membership?
VoxFati may grant Free Membership to an Expert. That waives the $49.99 monthly membership charge only. The standard commission on real consultation payments still applies.
