101 Copenhagen - Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl - Stool - Hako Table High - Steel, Bamboo

The Hako Table High stool by 101 Copenhagen, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, exemplifies contemporary Scandinavian design values such as minimalism, functionality, and the use of natural materials. This stool cleverly combines steel and bamboo, marrying durability with sustainable, eco-friendly aesthetics. Bamboo, a fast-growing and renewable resource, is prized for its lightness and strength, making it an excellent choice for furniture that is both sturdy and lightweight. The steel frame lends structural integrity and a modern industrial touch, balancing the organic warmth of bamboo with sleek, clean lines. Height-wise, the designation 'Table High' suggests this stool is suitable for use with high counters or bar-height tables, reflecting practical design considerations. 101 Copenhagen is recognized for producing high-quality, timeless furniture pieces that often incorporate eco-conscious principles and subtle craftsmanship details, making this stool a harmonious blend of style and sustainable design.
