Beatles - Abbey Road - 1st vinyl UK Press - With No 'Her Majesty' - Second `Sleeve - LP - 1969

The Beatles' "Abbey Road" album is one of the most iconic records in rock history, originally released in 1969. This first UK vinyl pressing is especially notable for collectors due to its distinctive feature: the absence of the song 'Her Majesty' on the tracklist and the use of a second, alternate sleeve design. Abbey Road captures The Beatles at the height of their creative powers, showcasing a blend of individual songwriting styles and innovative studio techniques. The album cover, famous for its image of the band crossing a zebra crossing outside Abbey Road Studios in London, has become a cultural symbol beyond music. Owning a first UK press offers a tangible connection to the era and the band's legacy, as variations in vinyl pressings reflect nuances in production and distribution at the time. Collectors value this particular pressing for its rarity and historical significance in Beatles discography.
