Canon EOS 30D + EF-S 3.5-5.6/18-55mm II USM Digital reflex camera (DSLR)

The Canon EOS 30D is a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera that marked a significant step in Canon's evolution of enthusiast and semi-professional photography tools when it was introduced in the mid-2000s. It features an 8.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that produces sharp images with reliable color rendition. The 18-55mm II USM lens that commonly accompanies this model is an EF-S zoom lens, designed specifically for Canon's APS-C DSLR bodies, offering a versatile focal range suitable for various types of photography including portraits, landscapes, and everyday shooting. The lens is equipped with an ultrasonic motor (USM) for quiet and fast autofocus. Together, this camera and lens combo is great for those beginning to explore advanced photography techniques while still providing plenty of manual controls and features to grow into. The robust build and classic DSLR handling appeal to photography enthusiasts who appreciate tactile control and optical viewfinders. This setup is also useful for users interested in a budget-friendly entry into interchangeable lens photography with a durable and dependable body and standard zoom lens.
