Coffee set - Meissen Porzellan Tassengedeck – Zwiebelmuster Blau - Porcelain

Meissen porcelain holds a prestigious place in the history of ceramics as one of the first European porcelain manufacturers, originating in Germany in the early 18th century. The 'Zwiebelmuster Blau' or 'Blue Onion pattern' is a classic Meissen design inspired by East Asian motifs, featuring stylized floral and onion-shaped elements rendered in striking cobalt blue on white porcelain. A coffee set, or 'Tassengedeck', traditionally includes a cup, saucer, and sometimes a small plate, designed for serving coffee elegantly. Meissen pieces are highly valued for their durability, fine quality, and artistic decoration. Collectors and enthusiasts prize them not only for daily use but also as heirloom items representing European porcelain artistry and history.
