Depeche Mode - Never Let Me Down Again (Tsangarides Mix) - 1st Germany Pressing - Vinyl record - Coloured vinyl - 1987

Depeche Mode is a pioneering English electronic band that shaped alternative and synth-pop music starting in the 1980s. "Never Let Me Down Again" is one of their iconic tracks, notable for its dark yet catchy synth melodies and introspective lyrics. This release marks the first German pressing of the "Tsangarides Mix" — a distinctive remix by Tony Tsangarides, a well-known producer and engineer who brought a fresh edge to the original song. Additionally, the colored vinyl format adds visual appeal, often produced in limited quantities making it a prized item for collectors. Colored vinyl records are popular among vinyl enthusiasts as they combine auditory and aesthetic appeal, often commemorating special editions or rare pressings. The 1987 release date situates this single in the band's critical era when they were evolving from synth-pop icons into darker, more complex alternative electronic musicians. Collectors and fans often seek first pressings like this for their superior sound quality and value as memorabilia. Overall, this record represents a defining moment in Depeche Mode's catalog and is illustrative of the vibrant electronic music scene of the late 1980s.
