This lot contains three early editions from the second series of Diabolik comics: issues 8, 9, and 10, titled "Il genio della rapina," "L'artiglio del demonio," and "Atroce beffa." Published in 1965, these editions represent a key phase in the continuation and expansion of the Diabolik saga. The series is noted for introducing complex characters and more intricate heist-driven plots, which deepened its appeal beyond traditional crime comics. These stories capture the essence of 1960s Italian popular culture, blending suspense, drama, and morality ambiguity in a stylish black-and-white presentation. Collectors prize first editions like these both for their historical significance in European comic history and for their distinctive artistic style shaped by creators like the Giussani sisters and artist Magnus.
