Dulieu, Jean - 1 original pencil drawing - Vrij werk - Millac - 1984
Jean Dulieu was a Dutch artist best known for his creation of the beloved character Paulus the woodgnome. This original pencil drawing marked as "Vrij werk" (free work) from 1984, possibly depicts studies or sketches separate from specific comic narratives. Pencil drawings allow insight into the artist’s process, showing raw, uncolored lines that form characters or scenes, providing a foundation for subsequent inking or coloring. Dulieu’s work is noted for its charm and appeal to children and collectors of European comic art.
