Hans meeuwsen - Relief, 2025-31 zwart porseleinen relief - 125 mm - Porcelain - 2025

Hans Meeuwsen's 'Relief, 2025-31' is a porcelain relief sculpture that exemplifies contemporary ceramic art. Porcelain, a refined type of ceramic known for its strength, translucency, and smooth surface, is a favored medium for artists exploring detailed and textural effects. Relief sculptures involve raised surfaces that create a three-dimensional effect on a flat background, adding depth and complexity to the work. Meeuwsen's piece from 2025 likely carries modern artistic expressions through abstract or representational forms, with black porcelain emphasizing contrast and elegance. Collectors and art enthusiasts value such works for their craftsmanship and the nuanced interplay of light and shadow on the textured surface.
