Johan et Pirlouit, Tif et Tondu, Spirou et Fantasio Set of 4 promotional blotters - Boutique Spirou - Dupuis - 1968

This set of four promotional blotters features iconic characters from some of the most famous Franco-Belgian comic series: Johan et Pirlouit (Johan and Peewit), Tif et Tondu (Tip and Tony), Spirou et Fantasio, all published by Dupuis. Dating from 1968, these blotters serve as both practical desk accessories and collectible pieces that reflect the golden age of European comics. Blotters were commonly used to absorb excess ink from fountain pens, and publishing houses and shops like Boutique Spirou often produced them as promotional merchandise. Each blotter showcases distinctive art styles and characters emblematic of mid-20th century comic storytelling, combining humor, adventure, and fantasy. Collectors prize such items for their nostalgic value and the glimpse they offer into comic culture before the digital era.
