Kiev 15 TEE 35mm SLR + Helios-81 Automat 50mm f/2 Analogue camera

The Kiev 15 TEE is a 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) camera produced in the Soviet Union, known for its robust build and compatibility with M42 lenses. Introduced in the 1970s, this camera offers a straightforward manual shooting experience with a light meter built into the prism housing to assist exposure settings. The paired Helios-81 Automat 50mm f/2 lens is a classic Soviet portrait lens famed for its distinctive swirly bokeh and sharpness at mid-apertures. This lens features an automatic aperture mechanism, hence the "Automat" designation, which helps maintain exposure accuracy. Analogue cameras like this combine mechanical precision with artistic potential, making them cherished by collectors and photographers interested in the tactile process of film photography. The Kiev 15 TEE’s simple yet effective design captures the essence of mid-20th century camera engineering while the Helios lens adds characterful optical rendering, popular among enthusiasts who appreciate vintage lenses for their unique image qualities.
