Knife rest (12) - Fox terrier - Gilt brass

Knife rests shaped like fox terriers, crafted from gilt brass, are charming table accessories that serve both decorative and functional purposes. Knife rests prevent cutlery blades from touching the tablecloth or surface, helping to maintain cleanliness and protect delicate fabrics during meals. The fox terrier design adds a whimsical, personalized element, often appealing to dog lovers and collectors of animal-themed decor. Brass lavishly gilded with gold leaf or plating enhances visual appeal and reflects traditional European dining customs. Such pieces combine artistry with etiquette, making them delightful collectibles or conversation starters at the dining table.
