LACRISS (1990) - THE SUPER PSYCHO DONALD DUCK - BEST ORIGINAL PAINT 100% - XL

LACRISS’s 1990 work 'THE SUPER PSYCHO DONALD DUCK' is an original acrylic and spray paint canvas that recontextualizes the classic Disney character Donald Duck in a vibrant, possibly rebellious urban art style. By labeling the piece as 'super psycho,' the artist may be offering a subversive or exaggerated interpretation, blending pop culture with graffiti aesthetics to challenge traditional perceptions of familiar icons. Donald Duck is historically characterized by his temper and comic mishaps, which can be fertile ground for artistic reinterpretation. This kind of artwork, created in 1990, often reflects the era's rising street art movements, combining accessibility of iconic imagery with contemporary expressive techniques. The canvas’s extra-large scale amplifies its visual impact, making it a noteworthy example of late 20th-century pop-infused urban art.
