Lafayette - Minuette Mark II / 2-Way Bookshelf Speaker set

The Lafayette Minuette Mark II is a 2-way bookshelf speaker set manufactured by Lafayette, a brand that produced various consumer audio products during the 20th century. 2-way speakers typically consist of two drivers—a woofer for bass and midrange frequencies and a tweeter for high frequencies—designed to deliver balanced sound reproduction. Bookshelf models like this were popular for their space-saving design and capability to produce quality sound in smaller rooms or as part of multi-channel systems. Lafayette audio gear is often appreciated by collectors for its vintage charm and classic tonal characteristics, reflecting the engineering and aesthetic trends of the era. Such speakers serve both nostalgia and practical listening needs, providing warm, natural sound suited to diverse musical genres and playback systems.
