Lalique - Figurine - Coppia di bagnanti in vetro satinato (2) - Glass

This set of two Lalique figurines, titled "Coppia di bagnanti in vetro satinato," represents the legendary French glassmaker's mastery in creating frosted glass sculptures. Lalique is internationally renowned for its exquisite glass art, blending realism with stylized forms. Satin-finished glass, or frosted glass, diffuses light softly, imparting a delicate and ethereal quality to the figurines. Depicting a bathing couple taps into classical themes of grace, naturalism, and sensuality, frequent in Lalique's early 20th-century oeuvre. These figurines are sought-after collectibles, embodying both historical artistic significance and timeless aesthetic beauty.
