Leitz Extension tube 14158 + 14135 Camera accessories

Leitz extension tubes, including models like 14158 and 14135, are camera accessories designed to enable closer focusing distances for macro or close-up photography without the need for specialized macro lenses. By placing these extension tubes between a camera body and the lens, the lens-to-film or sensor distance increases, thereby allowing the lens to focus more closely and magnify small subjects. Manufactured by Leitz, the company behind Leica cameras, these tubes are crafted with precision to maintain optical alignment and light transmission without additional glass elements. Extension tubes are valued tools for photographers who wish to explore detailed close-up shots of subjects such as insects, flowers, or small objects while using their existing lenses. They are particularly popular in analogue and digital photography for creative experimentation and enhancing fine detail capture.
