Maquette RIVA aquarama en bois Modélismes (67 cm.) 1:12 - Model boat

The RIVA Aquarama is an iconic model boat that represents one of the most luxurious and beautifully crafted wooden motorboats ever made. Originally produced by the Italian boat builder Riva, the Aquarama series was known for its elegant design, combining fine mahogany wood with sleek automotive-inspired lines. As a 1:12 scale model measuring 67 centimeters, this maquette captures the distinctive features of the real Aquarama, such as the polished wooden deck, chrome fittings, and streamlined shape. Wooden model boats like this are a popular form of craftsmanship among collectors and maritime enthusiasts, as they pay homage to classic yacht design and marine heritage. The detailed build and quality materials highlight the artisanal skills involved in both the original boat’s construction and the model maker’s reproduction. Collectors often prize such models for their aesthetic charm and as symbols of mid-20th-century luxury boating culture.
