Märklin H0 - 37362 - Electric locomotive (1) - 2-piece set "50 years Ae 6/6", MFX with full sound - SBB

The Märklin H0 37362 electric locomotive model commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Swiss Ae 6/6 class, a legendary series in Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) history. The Ae 6/6 locomotives, introduced in the mid-20th century, were powerful electric engines primarily used for heavy freight and passenger services across Switzerland’s challenging mountainous terrain. Known affectionately as “crocodiles” for their articulated bodyshells and performance, these locomotives became iconic for Swiss electrification excellence. Märklin’s model includes MFX digital control and full sound functions, allowing realistic engine noises, horn blasts, and operational sounds, greatly enhancing the simulation experience. This two-piece set often includes variations or related units, making it ideal for collectors and hobbyists interested in Swiss railway history or sophisticated model train operations. The detailed reproduction honors this class’s enduring legacy in alpine railroading and its role in effective electric traction on steep grades.
