Michel Dumas - Board game - Grand Modéle - Plexiglass

Michel Dumas is known for producing board games that often combine elegant design with quality materials. This 'Grand Modéle' version, featuring plexiglass, represents a modern take on classic board games, where plexiglass is used for a sleek and durable playing surface. Plexiglass, a type of acrylic glass, is valued for its lightweight, shatter resistance, and clarity, making it an appealing material for game boards that are both functional and visually attractive. Board games traditionally serve as interactive entertainment and social tools, with various models tailored for different game types or player counts. A 'Grand Modéle' likely indicates a larger, perhaps deluxe version, providing ample space for complex gameplay or detailed design elements. Collectors and enthusiasts appreciate such games not only for their play value but also as aesthetic objects that highlight craftsmanship and material innovation in gaming culture.
