Minitrix, Trix N - 13902, 15640, 15074-09 - Model train freight carriage (3) - Sliding-wall vans: three variants - SBB-CFF, DB Cargo

This lot includes three model freight carriages from the Minitrix and Trix N scale series, featuring sliding-wall vans used by Swiss Federal Railways (SBB-CFF) and Germany's DB Cargo. Sliding-wall freight vans are specialized railway cars designed for efficient loading and unloading of goods, especially bulky or palletized cargo. The sliding walls allow easy side access without lifting cargo overhead, enhancing operational flexibility. Models from Minitrix and Trix represent N scale trains—at 1:160 ratio—which appeal to hobbyists with limited space who still want detailed rolling stock. These freight cars depict real European rail freight operations and liveries, reflecting modern logistics and the vital role of rail transport in goods distribution. Collectors and modelers value such variants for their realism and as parts for creating accurate freight consists in miniature layouts.
