Nikon PK-11 / PK-12 / PK-13 Lens adapter

The Nikon PK-11, PK-12, and PK-13 lens adapters are auxiliary accessories designed to allow photographers to mount certain rangefinder or non-Nikon lenses onto Nikon F-mount cameras. These adapters facilitate the use of lenses with different mount systems by mechanically linking them to the Nikon camera body, preserving infinity focus depending on the adapter and lens combination. This flexibility enables photographers to experiment with vintage or specialty lenses that might offer unique optical characteristics or manual control not found in modern autofocus lenses. While the adapters do not transmit electronic signals between lens and camera, requiring manual aperture and focus operation, they expand creative possibilities and can be a valuable tool for collectors and enthusiasts interested in lens interchangeability and optical diversity.
