Paar zeer grote antieke kandelaars (h. 43cm) - Candelabrum (2) - Bronze, Marble

Pair of very large antique candelabra measuring approximately 43 cm high crafted from bronze and marble. Candelabra are branched candle holders designed to hold multiple candles, commonly used as centerpieces for illumination and decoration, especially before electric lighting. Bronze is favored for its strength and ability to hold intricate sculptural detail, often finished with a patina. Marble bases add stability and a luxurious appearance, evoking classical antiquity influences. They remain prized by collectors for their artistic merit and historic value in decorative arts.
