Pin badges have been popular collectibles and fashion accessories throughout the 20th century, serving as symbols of affiliation, commemoration, or personal expression. This extensive lot featuring four albums filled with pin badges, along with two metal tins, offers a fascinating glimpse into the variety and diversity of pins collected over time in the Netherlands. Pin badges can represent a wide range of themes including political campaigns, cultural events, brands, and hobbies. Albums were a common way to organize and preserve collections, highlighting the care collectors took to maintain their items. The metal tins included likely served both as storage containers to protect the pins and as collectible items in their own right.
