Quick et Flupke T5 - Gamins de Bruxelles - 5e série - 1 Album - First edition - 1942

This first edition album from 1942 belongs to the fifth series of "Quick et Flupke," a classic Belgian comic book created by Hergé, the same creator behind Tintin. The series centers on two mischievous street urchins in Brussels, Quick and Flupke, delivering humorous glimpses of childhood antics and urban life during the interwar and wartime periods. These comics are cherished for their lighthearted storytelling, expressive drawing style, and social commentary, reflecting city life in early 20th-century Belgium. A first edition from 1942 is especially significant due to the historical context and rarity, making it an important artifact for collectors interested in European comics heritage and Hergé's broader oeuvre beyond Tintin.
