Some ducky has been down to the frog pond and got a new friend...
Entirely handmade from start to finish by
The perfect companion(s) to jump on to lily pads with, and the ideal gift for the frog-lover in your life, be it a birthday, Valentine, Mother's Day or other occasion of joy. This handmade duck and frog combo buddy will be by your side for life. Along with Ed with the Bread, and Val with the Pal, he's one for the collector's shelf!
All of my creations are totally handmade by me. I start with wheel-thrown white stoneware clay, then add on hand-built ducky features and heart, underglaze the colours, biscuit fire to 900'c then transparent glaze and fire to stoneware 1220'c. At this temperature the glaze becomes glossy and smooth and you're left with a new ceramic companion.
