San Marino. 10000 Lire 1996 (No reserve price)

San Marino's 10,000 Lire coins from 1996 are notable for their role in commemorative or high-denomination issues issued by this small, independent republic surrounded by Italy. San Marino has a rich tradition of producing coins that celebrate its history, culture, and milestones. Coins in the Lire denomination issued by San Marino before transitioning to the euro often feature detailed engravings, sometimes highlighting famous landmarks, republic foundations, or significant events. Given San Marino's limited mintages and specialized issues, these coins are popular among collectors interested in microstates' coinage and European commemoratives. Their quality, silver content (if applicable), and thematic significance make them prized additions to collections focused on Italian peninsula numismatics or European microstate currencies.
