Tamron AF 2,8/70-200mm (IF) MACRO A001 (Pentax AF) Macro lens

The Tamron AF 70-200mm f/2.8 (IF) Macro A001 lens designed for Pentax AF cameras is a telephoto zoom lens combining fast aperture performance with macro capabilities. The constant f/2.8 maximum aperture throughout the zoom range allows for superior low-light performance and smooth background blur, highly valued in portrait, sports, and wildlife photography. The 'IF' stands for Internal Focusing, meaning the lens length remains constant while focusing, facilitating easier handling and use of filters. The macro feature provides close-up shooting capabilities with reasonable magnification, enabling detailed captures of small subjects like flowers or insects. Tamron's A001 model is known for excellent optical performance and build quality, offering Pentax users a versatile solution for diverse photographic applications. Compatible with Pentax auto-focus (AF) camera bodies, this lens supports modern focusing systems while delivering a classic focal length range suitable for both telephoto and macro photography.
