Tea cup - DEHUA - 2
Dehua porcelain tea cups are renowned for their delicate white glaze and fine craftsmanship, originating from Dehua in Fujian province, China. This type of porcelain, sometimes called 'blanc de Chine,' is prized for its pure, creamy whiteness and subtle translucency. Used traditionally for tea drinking, Dehua porcelain cups combine functionality with artistic beauty, often left unadorned to showcase the material's natural elegance. The serene simplicity and tactile qualities of such cups contribute to the refined experience of Chinese tea culture, especially during the modern era when traditional forms are still cherished.
