The Buttercup Chain (1970) Original US One Sheet Cinema Poster – A vintage theatrical folded domestic one-sheet (27" x 41") from this 1970 Robert Ellis Miller English romantic melodrama. Adapted from Janice Elliott's novel, the film explores unconventional relationships with the intriguing tagline "When two people are in love they're a couple. When four people are in love they're 'The Buttercup Chain'." The cast features Hywel Bennett, Leigh Taylor-Young, Jane Asher, Sven-Bertil Taube, and Clive Revill in a narrative examining emotional complexity and romantic entanglement. The poster captures the film's sophisticated examination of modern love and desire. Condition reflects heavy creasing concentrated at the top and bottom centre of the poster, consistent with storage and handling over decades. A distinctive period piece reflecting the era's willingness to explore unconventional romantic themes in cinema.
