The Stranglers - The Raven (UK) – 1979 1st Pressing – WITHDRAWN INNER SLEEVE – NEAR MINT Vinyl - LP - 1st Pressing - 1979

The Stranglers’ 1979 album "The Raven" marks a period where the band incorporated more complex arrangements into their punk-rooted sound, blending new wave and experimental influences. This first UK pressing is notable for including a now-withdrawn inner sleeve, increasing its rarity and collector value. The record offers a mix of hard-edged tracks and more atmospheric songs, reflecting the band’s evolving musical direction. The Raven remains a significant album demonstrating how punk bands were diversifying stylistically by the end of the 1970s. Its near-mint condition and unique packaging make it highly desirable for collectors and fans of post-punk music.
