Trix N - 18072 - Model train wagon (3) - Slag wagon / pig iron wagon - in top condition! - DB

Trix is a respected brand in the model railway community, known for its high-quality N scale (1:160) products, which allow detailed layouts in compact spaces. This set includes three slag wagons or pig iron wagons in excellent condition, representing goods rolling stock used by Deutsche Bahn (DB), Germany's national railway. Slag wagons are specialized freight cars designed to transport metallurgical by-products like slag or molten iron, essential for industrial railway operations. These wagons typically feature robust construction to handle heavy, abrasive loads common in steel and iron production facilities. Collectors value such wagons for adding industrial realism to their networks, often incorporating them into mine, factory, or steelworks layouts. Trix's precision engineering and attention to detail ensure these models accurately reflect the prototype's functional and aesthetic features, making them favorites for industrial-themed N scale collections.
