Vallauris - Table lamp - Glow-in-the-dark fish night light with an underwater scene. - Ceramic

The Vallauris table lamp featuring a glow-in-the-dark fish night light with an underwater scene is a charming example of ceramic craftsmanship with whimsical design. Vallauris, a town in the South of France, is famous for its pottery which gained international recognition in the mid-20th century through artists like Picasso. Ceramic lamps from Vallauris often incorporate colorful glazes and playful motifs. This lamp's underwater theme, highlighted by a glow-in-the-dark effect, makes it suitable as a night light, particularly in children's rooms or nautical-themed spaces. The glow effect is typically achieved using phosphorescent paint or materials that absorb and release light gradually. This fusion of functionality and artistic detail reflects the region's tradition of combining utility with decorative ceramics.
