Elegant and understated, Veronica gentianoides is a graceful, early-flowering perennial known for its sky-blue flower spikes and fresh green foliage. Blooming in late spring to early summer, it produces slender stems topped with small, pale blue flowers that gently rise above a low-growing rosette of lance-shaped leaves. Its soft colouring and airy habit make it perfect for cottage gardens, naturalistic borders, or shaded corners where a lighter touch is welcome. Easy to grow and tolerant of part shade, it’s a reliable favourite for gardeners seeking delicate beauty without the fuss.

Many garden designers recommend planting Veronica in groups of three for a balanced, cohesive look. It helps the plants stand out together and creates a lovely flow in your garden. But don't worry—this plant also looks great on its own or in smaller groupings!
