This vintage hand-carved Star Gazer chair from Mali embodies a rich tradition of West African craftsmanship. Made from solid wood, the chair’s unique design is both functional and artistic, featuring a gently reclining, low-slung profile that invites relaxation. Its backrest is angled to provide an unobstructed view of the sky, hence the name "Star Gazer." Intricately carved patterns cover the chair’s surfaces, showcasing traditional motifs that symbolize Mali's cultural heritage.
