Zen to Reveal the Extraordinary Tao

Zen will tie you in knots. If you are new to it you will find this out. If you are experienced you will know too well how you get it, then lose it, without understanding why. You chase it but it recedes. You know you found a clarity, a freedom that was so right, so simple. So elusive yet so close. Yes, ‘a split hairs difference and heaven and earth are set apart’.

As a young seeker I was in this place 30 years ago. I sought ‘sparks of knowing’ along a confusing paradoxical path. The path of no path. The path ‘with no one to travel it’. Now there is clarity.

Zen to reveal the extraordinary Tao sets out a paradoxical path to gain this clarity. A realistic path. There will be knots that demand a letting go. Again and again you will be faced with the inner contradiction of self, wherein lies the knowing where you may experience sparks of freedom. You will come to an understanding of how it is our endless desiring, seeking and doing that has only taken us away from finding the inner freedom that we seek. Through a more profound understanding of our relationship with time we discover the real ‘now’. We find ‘peace comes dropping slow’.
