About the Cosmology Map
Cosmology Map is a structured self-reflection tool inspired by Tao cosmological sequences. It keeps traditional calendrical symbolism and modern astronomical calculation visibly separate, so you can see which part of the result comes from each layer.
How to use it
Enter your birth date and exact local birth time. Start typing your birth city and choose one suggestion. The suggestion supplies latitude, longitude and an IANA timezone, which are stored with the reading.
Wu Ji and Tai Yi
Wu Ji is used here as the undifferentiated opening of the diagram. Tai Yi represents unity before the map descends into explicit polarity and differentiated phases.
Tai Ji, Yin and Yang
Tai Ji represents relational polarity. Your highlighted Yin or Yang emphasis is derived from the polarity of the Heavenly Stem in the solar-year layer of this tool.
Five Phases · Wu Xing
Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water are shown as transforming phases. The highlighted phase is the element associated with your Heavenly Stem; the map also explains its generating and regulating relationships.
Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch
The current version calculates the solar-year Stem and Branch with a Li Chun boundary. Around early February the Astronomy Engine Sun longitude is used to decide whether the new solar-year cycle has begun.
Astronomical Birth Sky
Astronomy Engine calculates the actual planetary positions for the exact birth moment and coordinates. These positions are presented as a separate astronomical layer and are not silently converted into Wu Xing categories.
How to read your result
The universal map is visible before calculation. With active membership, your birth data highlights the relevant polarity, Five Phase and Earthly Branch, and a detailed personal interpretation explains the full pattern together with the separate astronomical birth-sky layer.
Zoom and navigation
Use the + and − buttons to zoom. On desktop, drag the map while zoomed. On mobile, use two fingers to zoom and move the diagram without accidentally scrolling the map itself.
Membership, History and Community
Personal calculation is available only with active VoxFati membership. Generated maps and their personal interpretation are saved through VoxFati History and can use the existing History → Community sharing flow when Community posting access is available.
