Camps - M-2-S - - Classical guitar - Spain - 2021

The Camps M-2-S is a classical guitar made in Spain in 2021, carrying forward Spain's centuries-old tradition as a pivotal center for classical guitar craftsmanship. Classical guitars are known for their nylon strings, which produce a soft and warm tone suitable for flamenco, classical, and fingerstyle genres. These guitars typically have a wide neck and a hollow wooden body designed to optimize acoustic resonance without amplification. Spanish guitars, especially from makers like Camps, are valued for their meticulous construction, use of traditional woods such as cedar or spruce tops, and their ability to produce rich tonal complexity. Contemporary Spanish classical guitars continue to uphold these standards while sometimes incorporating modern techniques to improve playability and durability.
