Canon AE-1 black + FD 1.4/50mm S.S.C. | Single lens reflex camera (SLR)

The Canon AE-1 black model, paired with the FD 1.4/50mm S.S.C. (Super Spectra Coating) lens, is a classic 35mm single lens reflex (SLR) camera from the late 1970s and early 1980s. The AE-1 was among the first cameras to combine automatic exposure with a microprocessor, making it accessible and affordable for amateur photographers entering the world of SLR photography. Its black finish adds aesthetic appeal and was popular among enthusiasts. The FD 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. lens is notable for its fast aperture and improved coatings that reduce flare and ghosting, enhancing image quality. This pairing is celebrated for producing sharp, vibrant photographs and for its durable, compact design. Today, it remains a favored choice for film photography hobbyists and collectors interested in high-quality manual film cameras.
