Canon new F-1 + new FD 1,4/50mm | Single lens reflex camera (SLR)

The Canon New F-1 paired with the new FD 1.4/50mm lens is a classic example of a professional-grade single lens reflex (SLR) camera system from Canon's distinguished lineup. Introduced in the late 1970s and 1980s, the New F-1 was designed for advanced photographers requiring reliability, versatility, and precise control. It features a durable, modular construction with interchangeable viewfinders, focusing screens, and motor drives. The accompanying FD 50mm f/1.4 prime lens is prized for its bright aperture, allowing for excellent low-light performance and shallow depth of field, ideal for portraits and creative photography. Together, the camera and lens exemplify the era of manual focus SLR film cameras before the rise of autofocus and digital systems. Enthusiasts and collectors value the New F-1 for its engineering quality and the iconic status it holds in photographic history as a tool used by professionals worldwide for diverse photographic disciplines.
