Italy, Promotional coins before the euro. 1 Euro 1965 Movimento Federalista Europeo (MFE) + Gettone Deutsche Bank 1998 (No reserve price)
Coins before the Euro currency era in Italy include promotional and commemorative tokens like the 1 Euro 1965 Movimento Federalista Europeo (MFE), which celebrate political and social movements. This particular token probably commemorates efforts toward European federalism, reflecting historical context. Additionally, a Deutsche Bank token from 1998 represents corporate or institutional use of tokens, often employed for promotional or attendance purposes. Such items offer a glimpse into Italy's and Europe's monetary culture and political sentiments pre-Euro.
