Kodak Dakon / folding camera Analogue camera
The Kodak Dakon is a classic folding analogue camera exemplifying mid-20th-century portable photography design. Folding cameras feature bellows between the lens and the film plane, enabling a compact form when closed and extended focal lengths when open. Kodak models like the Dakon were popular among hobbyists for their ease of use and affordability. Such cameras typically use medium-format roll film, offering larger negatives than 35mm for superior image detail and tonality. Collectors appreciate folding cameras for their stylish mechanical simplicity and historical photography significance.
