Kraftwerk - Trans Europe Express - Special edition - Clear Vinyl - Vinyl record - Coloured vinyl, 180 gram, Remastered - 2020

Kraftwerk's "Trans Europe Express" is a seminal album in electronic music history, originally released in 1977 and highly influential in shaping genres like synth-pop, techno, and electronic dance music. This special edition clear vinyl pressing, remastered and released in 2020, offers audiophiles both visual appeal and refreshed audio fidelity. Clear vinyl is a colored vinyl variant that enhances the aesthetic appeal of records beyond traditional black pressings. The 180-gram weight confers a thicker, more durable disc, often resulting in improved sound quality due to reduced resonance and warping. Remastering involves revisiting the original recordings to optimize sound for contemporary playback systems, preserving the album's iconic minimalist soundscapes, repetitive synth riffs, and robotic vocals. This edition is collectible for both music lovers and vinyl enthusiasts as it celebrates a landmark work in the evolution of electronic music with premium physical presentation.
