Luginbühl - Bernhard Luginbuhl Plastiken / Zeichnungen 1946-1984 - 1972-1985

Bernhard Luginbühl was a Swiss sculptor and artist known for his monumental, often iron-based sculptures that blend organic forms and mechanistic elements. This volume, covering his plastic and drawing works from 1946 to 1984, traces his artistic evolution across nearly four decades. Luginbühl’s sculptures challenge conventional boundaries, frequently appearing raw and primal yet conceptually layered, exploring themes such as nature, mythology, and industrialization. The combination of sculptures and drawings in this book offers a comprehensive view of his creative process and diverse media handling. His work occupies an important niche in postwar European art, influencing sculpture and avant-garde movements.
