Nintendo - Gameboy Color - Grand Theft Auto 2 - Video game
The Game Boy Color version of 'Grand Theft Auto 2' represents a port of the popular open-world action game adapted for handheld play. Released by Nintendo, the Game Boy Color was a widely popular handheld console in the late 1990s. 'Grand Theft Auto 2' brought the brand's trademark crime-filled sandbox gameplay to a portable device, which was notable considering the hardware limitations of the time. Though simplified, this version maintained the core themes and gameplay loop of the series. Collectors value such titles for their place in the evolution of gaming and the cross-platform reach of blockbuster franchises.
