Petrol pump (1) - Shell - Ancienne jerrican d'essence shell - 1950-1960
An old Shell petrol jerrican from the 1950s or 1960s is a collectible item that reflects historic fuel storage and transportation methods. Shell, one of the world's largest oil companies, branded jerricans were typically metal containers used for storing and carrying fuel safely, especially before widespread availability of modern fuel pumps. These containers often featured distinctive logos and design details that have become nostalgic symbols of mid-20th-century automotive culture. Collectors value such items for their design, brand history, and association with the golden age of motoring and roadside service stations.
