revista Papagaio - 9 Comic collection - 1945
The "revista Papagaio" collection from 1945 represents a series of comics from the mid-20th century, likely published in a Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking country given the title. 'Revista' means magazine in these languages, suggesting the comics were part of periodical publications. The year 1945 situates these comics in a post-World War II context, a time when comics were a popular form of entertainment across the globe. Such collections offer insights into the regional styles, themes, and cultural narratives prevalent in their time and location, valuable for collectors and historians of early comics.
