Rosenthal - Ron Arad - Vase (2) - Ringoletto - Porcelain

I'm offering here a distinctive pair of porcelain vases from the Ringoletto series, designed by acclaimed industrial designer Ron Arad for Rosenthal GmbH, Germany.
These sculptural pieces combine organic form with dynamic metal spirals, resulting in a striking balance between fluid surfaces and architectural movement.

The design is characteristic of Arad’s expressive approach, integrating material contrast and playful geometry. Each vase features a ribbed porcelain body in high-gloss glaze (one white, one black) with an integrated stainless-steel spiral rising from the mouth — creating a sense of controlled tension and visual rhythm.

SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS:
Ron Arad is a globally acclaimed contemporary industrial designer, artist, and architect. Over more than four decades he has built a unique creative voice that transcends traditional boundaries between art and design, combining experimental materials, sculptural form, and technological innovation.

Rosenthal is one of Germany’s most renowned porcelain manufacturers, celebrated for collaborations with leading designers and for blurring the line between applied art and functional design. This set is a fine example of German modernist studio production and will appeal to collectors of Rosenthal and post-war decorative arts.

The Ringoletto vases are not only functional objects but compelling examples of contemporary design that appeal to collectors of modern ceramics, designer objects, and Rosenthal production. Their expressive silhouette and contrasting materials make them a standout addition to any design collection.
