Sculpture, Omhelzend koppel - 100 cm - Iron

This iron sculpture titled 'Omhelzend koppel' (meaning 'embracing couple') measures approximately 100 cm and depicts an intimate human connection through abstract or semi-abstract form. Iron as a sculptural medium is appreciated for its robustness, heavy weight, and the capacity to express strength and permanence. Sculptures representing human relationships convey universal themes of affection, unity, and emotional expression. The embrace is a powerful symbol in art, often interpreted as a gesture of love, comfort, or solidarity. As iron can be welded, bent, or cast into diverse forms, artists use it to create expressive lines and volumes. This piece likely combines the industrial nature of iron with the soft emotional theme of an embrace, offering a contrast that enriches its expressive capacity.
