The Tree That Connects the Visible and Hidden

A broad tree rises through the center of a circular world. A rainbow descends beside its trunk, while an immense serpent follows the edge of the upper landscape. Below, roots spread through pale earth toward winding streams and another coiling creature.

The artwork brings visible growth and hidden support into the same frame. Branches reach toward birds and celestial figures, but the roots receive equal space. The picture is a mythic landscape, not a factual map of the Earth.

Some forms of growth are easy to show: a finished project, a new skill, a change others recognize. Other foundations remain less visible, including rest, patient practice, and support from people who know us well.

Look at the roots before returning to the canopy. What has been supporting your recent efforts? The image offers a moment to recognize that foundation, even when it does not look like progress from the outside.
