Valentina Cojocaru - Sculpture, Giove Rosso 01 - Sculptural Vase (Edition of 6) - 16 cm - Stoneware - 2026

Valentina Cojocaru’s 'Giove Rosso 01' is a sculptural vase made of stoneware, a type of high-fired ceramic known for its durability and earthy texture. Limited edition artworks, such as this edition of six, blend the functional qualities of vases with sculptural artistry, positioning the object as both a container and a statement piece. Stoneware clay bodies are typically dense and non-porous after firing, lending both strength and subtle natural color variations. Contemporary ceramic artists like Cojocaru often explore form and surface as expressive elements, making such pieces appealing to collectors who appreciate the crossover between fine art and craft in ceramics.
